Acts of environmental stewardship, show care and respect for our Creator’s works -- air, water, soil, plants, animals, natural beauty -- while addressing the moral imperative to care for our brothers and sisters, near and far, impacted by human-induced environmental degradation, such as climate change.

The mission of Alaska Interfaith Power & Light (IPL) is to connect interfaith communities across Alaska, with the tools and resources to serve as stewards of creation. 

Alaska IPL supports member communities in fulfilling this responsibility through the following stewardship actions: Education, Sanctuary Energy Audits, Energy Efficiency, Environmental Stewardship, GreenJobs for Alaskans in Need, Political Engagement and Renewable Energy.
